Brother Jonathan “Dru” Wood first knocked upon the door of Freemasonry at San Jose Lodge No. 10, in San Jose, California, in 2006, was raised that same year, and served as Worshipful Master in 2010. He was a charter member in 2009 of Paideia Lodge No. 852, a Traditional Observance lodge in Santa Cruz, CA; is an officer of the Southern California Research Lodge and has served six terms as Master of Claremont Lodge No. 436, where he is the sitting Master, Officers’ Coach, and a candidate coach. He received the Hiram Award in 2023.

He is a member of various Masonic bodies including York Rite, Scottish Rite, AMD, SRICF and Southern California Research Lodge. Brother Wood enjoys writing and speaking on topics such as Freemasonry and rites of passage, the grail quest, and the western esoteric tradition.

He has studied various traditions including Golden Dawn, Rosicrucian, Martinist, and Vedanta. Outside of his esoteric pursuits, he enjoys film, reading, spending time in nature, as well as practicing and teaching various forms of meditation, NLP and hypnosis for positive mental health and self-awareness.
